The campground is very clean and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The campground was quiet and the scenery is so beautiful. We can't wait to get back for another visit!

We had such a lovely time at this KOA. Although the KOA is located within the city of Mount Pleasant, you didn't hear any road traffic. Jenny, the activities director, made our stay over the top enjoyable. The campground was about 2/3 full for Mother's Day Weekend, and we participated in many of the activities that Jenny offered during the weekend. Cody was fun as well during our bingo games.

We stayed in one of the cabins and loved it. The bathhouses were always clean. All the staff was so friendly and accommodating! We ll be back next year or hopefully before!

Excellent staff, VERY HELPFUL and POLITE Very clean facilities. Plenty of space between rigs. Very quite. Near necessary shopping. Well worth the cost. Would stay there again if we were to visit the area again.

Not a five due to showers not being well ventilated. Also, the dog drop nearest us was close to a ditch that was populated with snakes - needed to be close to the road vice close to the ditch.

The staff were extremely nice, friendly and professional. There was always someone around to help when you needed something. The grounds were very well kept and restrooms and laundry very clean. Although it is expensive you receive the service. The only negative is the gravel you place in the spots had larger rocks in it which makes it more difficult to lay your mat down and to walk around.

The environment is beautiful and the guys ride around and pick up any piece of trash. The two negatives were: 1.The unfriendly man, Jeff, that checked us at the front desk. He was downright rude. and 2.The people next to us checked in and set up at 7:00 AM one morning. The quiet hours are 10 PM - 8 AM. They woke us up which wasn't pleasant listening to that. We couldn't ck in until 1 PM.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

So sorry they were loud pre-8:00 a.m. They actually were registered and paid for the pervious night so they were able to come to the campground anytime after 1:00 p.m. the previous day.

Overall, it was great! If you have pets with you, the grounds are covered with burrs that stick to fur and hurt paws..

Had a great visit - the cabin was lovely and perfect for the visit for my grandson's graduation. Was nice to be able to stay at the same location as other family memebers in their RV

Prior to arriving our RV engine light came on. We needed to go to the diesel engine repair shop and got an appointment for the next week. Mt. PLEASANT KOA refunded us for the 2 nights that we had to miss at the end of our stay. Very much appreciated! Also loved the trail, friendly and helpful staff, easy access to hyw 17 and all the good restaurants a short drive away.

We rented an RV site and a cabin for mom - we were in town for my son's graduation from The Citadel. Both wonderful places that made keeping everyone together much simpler! We loved watching all the wildlife activity in the pond. Our dogs especially enjoy the dog park - great idea to divide the space in two so more can enjoy Can't wait to come back!!

This KOA Holiday is by far the best KOA we've visited. We have been here several times. Staff is helpful and very friendly. Amenities and activities are abundant. Facilities are always improving and meticulous. Highly recommend this location to anyone. My son and his family joined us this time and stayed in a cabin next to our campsite. My daughter in law said mattress was very Comfortable.

Wonderful campground. Lake and trails are great. Very friendly staff. If you need transportation see Martha or Kevin. Very reasonable and they have a lot of knowledge of the area.

Have stayed at KOA Mount Pleasant many times and their staff is knowledgeable, friendly and clearly focused on ensuring that you have an enjoyable stay. It was unfortunate that there was a problem with campground WiFi.

This is our favorite place to camp! Beautiful sites with loads of amenities and activities for our grandkids when they are able to join us. Friendly friendly and helpful staff. We leave with zero complaints or suggestions as they have it down and it just makes our stay so enjoyable and loads of great memories for all!

Great location in the Cahrelston area, 15 min from downtown. Long RV spots plenty for large campers and tow vehicles, or big class A RVs and runabout cars. Large catch and release fishing lake, and long nature trail that offers cool views as it winds through part of a swamp. Best to get a site with a cememt pad, otherwise your sitting in sand and tracking it in your RV. Friendly staff and trash service. -5G is a bit slow -Did not use campsite WiFi -Starlink has good coverage and excellent speed.
