Absolutely the most scenic and relaxing campground we visited. We’ve been from Maine to Key West and stayed at some wonderful campgrounds but Sugarloaf is our favorite so far. The campgrounds are very clean with foliage between each campsite which provides privacy. The pool area and bathroom/shower facilities were also very clean. We chose a kayak access site and was very disappointed when we were unable to use the upgrade. The muck was knee deep and we found it impossible to get to the water and into our kayaks.

I don’t think it’s possible to find a nicer place to stay. Campground is a tropical heaven. Lush green landscaping of award winning caliber. Most private sites I have ever had the pleasure to camp. No question that I will return here in the future. Don’t change a thing.

The park was absolutely beautiful! Sparkling clean and the staff were so nice. Live music by the pool on Saturday night! The band was amazing, and we could not have had more fun.

Amazing recover from hurricane past damage. Very self contained campground. Could not experience all the amenities. Close to Key West and all the tourist attractions.

This is one of the if not the most beautiful RV campgrounds we've stayed at. The landscaping gives you a feeling of privacy in your site. The amenities are top notch. The bathrooms were always clean and air conditioned. We really enjoyed the beach and the pool. The staff were the friendliest we've ever dealt with. Just an overall fantastic experience.

Great campground! Large sites with great landscaping for privacy, good boat ramp with slips, plenty of friendly and helpful staff. Live band at the pool was definitely a nice touch. Nicest KOA we’ve stayed at!

The best KOA we have stayed at and we have stayed at a lot. The park has a lot of amenities, is well laid out, has beautiful landscaping and we loved the location for visiting other areas. We didn’t want to be all the way in Key West because then it is so much farther to get to Marathon and Islamorada. It was still only about 20 minutes to Key West.

This was the most beautiful campground we have ever visited—and we’ve been camping for over 40 years. Everything was clean and perfectly maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. Five stars is not enough to accurately rate this campground and in comparison this week I rated another campground in the same state and with the same company as a one star.

On the day of departure we had some mechanical problems with our motorhome. I wasn't sure if I was going to repair it in a day. I went to the office and got another site, explaining my situation. The staff were outstanding helping me. Fortunately after a trip to the parts store, I repaired the issue. I went back to the office and they gave me a refund. Everyone was great. Mike was also great

We have enjoyed this KOA before and recommend to family to stay in the apartments newly built. They had nothing but trouble with the AC. Even calling the “EMERGENCY” phone number with NO response. 80 degrees inside was enough for them to cut their vacation short and leave. Sadly, the apartment rentals were not up to the standard we have always enjoyed and expected in the campgrounds.

Very clean, friendly staff, great amenities. We stayed in an accessible site that was very private, surrounded by tropical plants. Wonderful place. (The speed bumps are murderous though)

Without a doubt the best by far of any campground we’ve ever stayed at that includes Bluewater key resort just up the road. They have nothing on you. We really enjoyed our stay and will highly recommend it to everyone. We know thank you very much.

This KOA knocked it out of the park. Park was one of the cleanest campgrounds I have ever been to. Staff everywhere keeping the tropical atmosphere. Lots of things to do every day, live music, trivia by the pool, etc. Will definitely return.

Tout est parfait. � Les employés et les installations et la propreté est A1 les toilettes et les douches sont adaptés il y a des rampes pour les fauteuils roulants et même un monte charge Le seul hic c’est qu’il n’y a pas de bouton pressoir pour ouvrir les portes. Merci nous avons passé 15 nuits merveilleuses au Sugarloaf key KOA Robert Cote

Absolutely a fantastic stay at Sugarloaf !! The entire staff is top notch, the campground is very clean, and the facilities are the best anywhere !! Will be back every year and will not go anywhere else when visiting the Keys !!

Level, clean RV spots with paved patio and furniture. Great WiFi that you can actually stream TV!, Fantastic pool and hot tub. Great tiki bar with good food! 20 miles from Key West. Also great restaurants locally.

Booked 2 days and upon check in and getting the RV on our site, we immediately went back to the office to ask to extend a day, and we did. The park is the most beautiful RV park we have been to in several yrs of traveling all over the US. Totally enjoyed the fun banter and interaction with the park employees.

Nice campground. Sites seemed private with the vegetation between sites. Nice pool and bar area and the entire campground was clean. Would definitely return again.

Great rv resort. Everything is clean. The staff is happy and helpful. And the landscaping is second to none. This is our new standard for rv resorts and we have not seen anywhere that will measure up to KOA Sugarloaf!!!

EXCELLENT! We Stayed in the Campground (FT RVers) and friends of ours Flew Down and Stayed in One of the Two Hotels on the Premises. It worked out Great and their room was incredible. Everything was New and they also had a Full Kitchen and Washer and Dryer right in the room. We will definitely be coming back here in the future. Key West is only about 35 minutes away.

We use KOA exclusively. By far, cleanest dog park ever! Appreciated that artificial grass was sanitized daily. Laundry facilities and restrooms very clean. Nice staff. Swimming pool very relaxing. Privacy between spaces with lots of plants.

The campground was very beautiful and not too crowded. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the total lack of grass. Even the dog park was astroturf which gets hot and smelly in the afternoon

Super friendly and very clean. Well maintained throughout. The extra amenities make this place special. Pool and spa area is like a tropical oasis completely enclosed by massive palm trees and other landscaping. The pool bar and cafe have a great staff, a variety of menu choices (bar food) and awesome bar staff (Kim and Ashley!!). Going back soon.

Loved the tent sites. nicest ever. The no see um tiny bugs got us! We still have the marks. We are glad KOA had the repellant for sale. The staff was so kind to transfer us to an RV site. The resort is super clean, updated bathrooms and great landscaping. The pool area was tropical. We ate at the outdoor restaurant and used the laundry room. It was a good stay. Close to Key West, Thank you

Our experience with this campground was beyond our expectations!! We enjoyed the pool area and the other amenities. The pool was area was beautiful and the service was excellent. Our bartender Randy was fabulous!!

We stayed 3 nights buddy camping with friends here at Sugarloaf KOA. Wonderful experience, very clean facilities, wonderful amenities, nice small kid friendly beach, great pool/hammock/bar area, and the sites are very nice! This KOA is the absolute best we've been to yet! Very Slight Cons- -Beach access needs an updated water toy, the big walking water toy has algae all over it and can't be used. -Renting a boat outside of the Sugarloaf marina does not let you bring the boat over to rent a slip, so rent it ahead of time at the sugarloaf marina next to the KOA if you want to rent the slip at the KOA to use.
