Located just off the I-90 & I-15: Take Exit 126 - Montana Street interchange. Head one block north on Montana Street and take the first right onto George Street. We are one block ahead on the right at Kaw Avenue, just past the Butte Visitor's Center.

TheThe Mineral Museum is located on the Montana Tech Campus, overlooking the historic mining city of Butte. The Museum exhibits 1,300 specimens from its extensive collection of minerals from Butte, Montana, and worldwide localities. Take a stroll around the campus and up into the adjacent park! Wow, what views!

Virginia City, Montana sits high in the Rocky Mountains in a bowl along Alder Gulch, where gold was first discovered in 1863, during the Civil War. Within a year the town grew to over 10,000 and became the Territorial Capital in 1865. Today, Virginia City's main street provides an exceptional example of commercial architecture from the later eighteen hundreds. Many of the original structures are filled with original artifacts. Be sure to visit the buildings in nearby Nevada City as well.

Guests can bike one of the many single track trails near the campground, or head out and try a section of the Great Divide route, which runs thru Butte. Another option is to hire LinkedAdventures to shuttle you a bit farther afield. No matter your cycling needs, we can offer an option. One word of caution....most of your options are at or above 5,000 ft, so be mentally prepared for less oxygen.
Butte itself is home to 3 craft breweries, and countless places that serve the finest beer brewed in Montana. If you prefer something a bit different, Headframe Spirits offers what many consider the best Moscow Mule in the state.
