Been coming there for years. It’s peaceful, very clean and friendly. Every year I witness more upgrades around the facility. The staff is always attentive and friendly. It’s also in a great location to all the area has to offer. We’ll be going back at the end of summer and we can’t wait

Convenient to have small shop on site and shuttle to ferry. Whenever issues came up, flickering lights/dirty bathrooms, they addressed it as soon as possible and were very friendly.

Loved that KOA! Super friendly service, large level lots. Everything neat and clean. Close to trails, there is even a beach down the road! Great amenities!

It was fine, but I wouldn’t say it was the best we have ever been to. Everyone was very nice, but for a holiday weekend we were expecting activites for the families staying….Bingo, Campfire Cooking competition, Corn Hole tournaments….something….

Awesome, like all the KOAs I have stayed at, great staff people and easy to find location. Also, it is easy to navigate inside the park even when towing. If you forgot stuff stores are close Walmart a bit of a drive but not bad.

Lovely staff who are extremely helpful. Water was painfully slow to fill tanks due to pressure regulators on the tap. Enjoyed our stay!

This campground is one of the best KOA campgrounds we have stayed at. All staff were helpful and friendly. The text messaging was an easy way to ask for firewood, ice or assistance. An easy ride from the campground to Mackinaw City on the bike trails. Convenient pickup from the campground to Shepler's Dock to catch ferry to Mackinac Island. Nice K9 yard for those traveling with pets.

A friendly greeter was there when we arrived. There were the amenities we needed (laundry, showers, WiFi), and it was close to the places we wanted to go see.

Very clean, very accommodating, nice to have the shuttle to puck you up for the island. We had a very nice stay and lived the grill & patio. We didn't have to pull anything from our motorhome.

It's obvious that there has been a significant effort of improving the campground in the recent 3 years. I will continue to return as the effort to maintain and improve is evident. I particularly applaud the hard-packed roads and campsites, as too often they are loose gravel and/or mud and sand pits at other campgrounds.

Very nice campground with all needed amenities. Great staff. Very conveniently located to the ferry to Mackinac Island. They can sell you tickets at the campground and arrange the free shuttle service to and from. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a very well managed property and conveniently located. I walked into town on a nature trail and paved walking path, about 1.5 miles one way. They have shuttle service to Mackinac Island ferries and sell tickets in the reception area. It is very efficient and convenient. The property is well maintained, clean and very pretty. The staff are so nice, and I felt very comfortable here. It's not on the water but the property feels rural with lots of trees and shaded lots. Trails End Beach is just down the road if you want to enjoy the water. The facilities are very clean, the laundry is more than adequate. But the highlight of my stay were the camp hosts who went above and beyond to help. From assisting me with a little muscle with a problem on the RV to expressing concern when my cat escaped my coach, the hosts made me, a solo traveler, feel like I had family at this campground. I really enjoyed my stay here.

We stayed in the campground- we arrived late and it was quick and easy to get our site and map. Easy pull through sites, bathhouse was very clean and well lit! Will be back!
